In the past decade, CORGHI has dedicated time and energy to revolutionise no contact technology within wheel alignments. This means there is no contact on the tyre of the rim during the entire wheel alignment process. By using optical technology and the power of computers, CORGHI has managed to eliminate the requirement of traditional clamps. During the development of our world leading no contact wheel aligner, CORGHI worked closely with racing teams, high-end car manufacturers and workshops to ensure our innovations are high quality.
After years of careful development, CORGHI proudly has developed the R.E.M.O. (Robotic Equipment for Measuring by Optics) no contact wheel aligner and pre-check wheel alignment systems.
R.E.M.O. Rapide, the latest addition to the CORGHI no contact family, is a pre-check alignment system that allows for a quick check of customer’s cars on entry to the workshop. The drive through system gives a simple reference for customer’s vehicle and let them know if they should invest in a wheel alignment.
R.E.M.O. Compact brings robots to the wheel alignment arena. Two small robots equipped with lasers and cameras move in parallel with the vehicle, at no time making contact with the wheel or tyres of the vehicle, taking away the role of the clamps. The machine acquires images of the vehicles and in less than 2 minutes, determines the angles and space co-ordinates of the wheel with precision of one hundredth of a millimetre. While this machine is technically advanced, it is also very simple to use, the operator selects the vehicle on the monitor and R.E.M.O. Compact does the rest by automatically performing a lift search, wheel search and wheel measurement of the vehicle and producing alignment data summary. It is quick and precise, and allows workshops to involve the customer with live readings.
Just like all CORGHI equipment, R.E.M.O. is highly accurate and efficient. It has been awarded the Italian Mechatronic Prize which acknowledges CORGHI’s lead in innovations.
